Truth & Reconciliation Week

Today we will finish watching the movie Night Raiders, which is a science fiction allegory for the residential school system in Canada. There is a content warning for this film; from the Indigenous writers, director and producers:
There are aspects of the film that are based on colonial violence and truama that many Indigenous people have experienced, including the removal of children.
Some of these scenes may be upsetting or triggering, particularly for direct or intergenerational survivors of Residential Schools in the audience.
We honour your experiences.

The National Residential School Crisis Line is 1-866-925-4419 and is available 24 hours a day.
