The First Peoples Principles of Learning were developed by the First Nations Education Steering Committee of British Columbia.

The Yukon Department of Education uses the            BC Curriculum, therefore we have adopted the       use of these principles in our courses and classrooms.

By using these principles, we are able to offer authentic learning opportunities that are reflective of our lived experiences here in the Yukon.
