Electives

Students have the option of taking elective courses while attending the ABEL program.  Many students choose 1-2 electives each semester and we add these courses to their personalized schedules.

Options vary for each grade level, however some examples include:

• textiles

• wood shop

• power technology

• metal shop

• foods

• physical education

• drama

• art

• band

• hair dressing

• esthetics

Student electives are chosen in consultation with our guidance counsellors.
