Fitness

The ABEL program promotes a healthy lifestyle that includes daily fitness.  Students have access to the school fitness room every day.  They have the option of using the treadmill, stationary bike or stepper for their cardio.  Students are also are encouraged to use the weights, kettle bells, and plyometric excercises to increase their strength and conditioning.

There are opportunities for class walks, hikes, snowshoeing and skiing that also contribute to our overall fitness goals.  Students track their progress each week and their participation in fitness programming is credited towards BC Physical Education outcomes.
