This is an interview with three Indigenous filmmakers and their views on the state of Indigenous film in Canada. You will recognize Jesse Wente from Reel Injun.

This interview highlights the importance of authentic Indigenous voices telling Indigenous stories.
Trickster is a Canadian series that premiered this fall on CBC television. It was celebrated for it's Indigenous representation both on-screen and off-screen.

Ironically, the show-runner and director, Michelle Latimer, has since been questioned about her claims to Indigenous heritage.

This video highlights the importance of Indigenous representation both on and off camera.
